Crawley close to Cedric Evina signing?

Former Charlton Athletic midfielder Cedric Evina could reportedly be nearing a transfer to Crawley Town.

Evina, who began his professional career with Arsenal, had spent the past three seasons with the Addicks before he was released at the end of the last campaign.

According to Sky Sports News, a number of teams are interested in Evina, but Crawley have emerged as the favourites to secure his signature.

The 22-year-old made the last of his 35 appearances for Charlton in February.
