Team News: Two changes for Coventry City against Southend United

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray makes two changes to his side ahead of their League One meeting against Southend United at the Ricoh Arena.

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has made two changes to the side to face Southend United in their League One meeting at the Ricoh Arena.

James Maddison and Jordan Willis have both been ruled out through injuries suffered in the 2-1 defeat to Walsall so the Sky Blues boss has been forced to alter his side.

Norwich City loanee Jacob Murphy and Aaron Phillips come into the side to face the Shrimpers as City look to keep their unbeaten home run going.

For Southend, ex-Nottingham Forest winger Stephen McLaughlin - who penned a two-year deal on Thursday to return to Roots Hall after he helped the Shrimpers to promotion last season - has been named on the bench.
