Report: Chelsea to enter Tiago Ilori race

Chelsea are eyeing a move for Sporting Lisbon defender Tiago Ilori, according to a report.

Several clubs have been linked with the 20-year-old this summer, including Liverpool, who have reportedly begun talks with the Portuguese outfit.

However, Blues boss Jose Mourinho is poised to enter the race to sign the defender with a bid of £8.5m, reports The Mirror.

Ilori made 13 appearances for Sporting in all competitions last season.
