RB Leipzig keen to loan Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu?

RB Leipzig are reportedly interested in securing a season-long loan deal for Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu.

Despite emerging as a regular for Wales, Ampadu has been starved of first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge, making just seven starts and five substitute outings across two seasons.

New Blues boss Frank Lampard has already acknowledged that the 18-year-old is likely to go out on loan this summer, which will inevitably lead to a scramble for his services.

According to The Sun, RB Leipzig are regarded as the favourites to get a deal over the line in the coming weeks.

Ampadu is expected to have offers from the Premier League and the Championship, although Chelsea will likely send the teenager to a club where he will be considered to be first choice.
