Gus Poyet: 'Radamel Falcao will leave Atletico Madrid this summer'

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet feels that Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao will leave the club this summer.

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet believes that Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao will leave the Spanish club in the summer.

The Colombian international has been linked with a move away from Vicente Calderon for several months after carving out a reputation as one of the finest forwards in European football, and Poyet feels that his fellow South American will move on at the end of the season.

"It's going to be very difficult for Atletico to keep him and I can't see him being there next season," the Uruguayan told Sky Sports' Revista de La Liga show.

"I don't think there is too many like him as a No. 9, and he scores all types of goals. If you want to be the top scorer, you must score all kinds of goals and he does."

Falcao has recently been linked with a move to Chelsea.
