AC Milan looking to sign Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen?

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for AC Milan.

Since the beginning of the January window, Milan have been linked with a number of centre-backs as Stefano Pioli looks at ways to improve his squad.

Barcelona's Jean-Clair Todibo had appeared to be a likely arrival on a loan deal, but the Frenchman is allegedly in line to move to Schalke 04.

According to Sky Italia, that has led to Milan identifying Christensen as a possible addition, most likely on a temporary basis.

The Denmark international has struggled to hold down a regular starting role under Maurizio Sarri and Frank Lampard, resulting in frequent speculation regarding his future.

The 23-year-old has been restricted to 11 starts in all competitions during the current campaign.
