Juventus to include Rogerio in any Matthijs de Ligt deal?

Juventus are reportedly willing to offer left-back Rogerio - previously linked with Chelsea and Wolves - in any deal to sign Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.

Juventus are reportedly hopeful of using Rogerio as a makeweight in any deal to sign in-demand Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.

Juve are understood to be in a battle with Barcelona for the signature of the highly-rated 19-year-old, who has been instrumental in Ajax's title challenge and their run to the Champions League quarter-finals so far this season.

Previous reports have suggested that Barcelona are leading the race for his signature, but Juventus are refusing to give up on one of their top summer targets.

Tuttosport reports that the Italian champions are considering including Rogerio - who is currently on loan at Sassuolo - as part of any offer.

Ajax are thought to rate the 21-year-old Brazilian left-back highly and could be in the market for a new left-back, with Nicolas Tagliafico heavily linked with a move away from the Dutch outfit this summer.

Juve are hopeful that an offer of €50m (£42.7m) plus Rogerio could give them the advantage ahead of Barcelona, who are reportedly considering offering Jean-Clair Todibo on loan as part of their approach.

Should the Bianconeri miss out on De Ligt then they could instead offer Rogerio in a deal for Benfica centre-back Ruben Dias, who has also been linked with a host of top clubs.

A number of Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers were credited with an interest in Rogerio during the January transfer window.
