Inter Miami keen on Olivier Giroud?

Inter Miami have reportedly joined the race to sign out-of-favour Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, who will see his contract at Stamford Bridge expire next summer.

The former Arsenal frontman is yet to start a Premier League game for the Blues this term, with Frank Lampard preferring Tammy Abraham and Timo Werner to Giroud.

The France international has been linked with a move away for some time due to his lack of first-team action, with Giroud's agent recently hinting that a January exit could be on the cards amid reported interest from Serie A.

The veteran would not be short of destinations if he does decide to leave, with The Mirror claiming that David Beckham's Inter Miami are intent on bringing Giroud to the United States.

While the 34-year-old still retains the trust of France manager Didier Deschamps having turned out for the World Cup champions in November, the report claims that Giroud is desperate for more game time in order to nail down a spot in France's Euros squad.

Giroud boasts 29 goals from 95 games in a Chelsea shirt since arriving from Arsenal, but the forward's only goal this season so far came against Barnsley in the EFL Cup.
