Courtois tight-lipped on Chelsea future

Thibaut Courtois has confirmed that he has spoken with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho over his future but has refused to divulge what came from the discussion.

Courtois has spent the last three seasons on loan with Atletico Madrid but was permitted to face his parent club in a Champions League semi-final tie back in April.

Consequently, the Belgian's long-term future in West London remains unclear and the young goalkeeper has opted against clarifying his situation.

"My future seemed clear but then we played in the Champions League," he told Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure.

"And yes, Mourinho called me before the [final League] game against Barcelona.

"What we talked about stays between us. I have a two-year contract with Chelsea, so in principle I will be there for training, then we'll talk."

Courtois's Chelsea deal expires in 2016.
