Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will be on high alert as a report claims that Suso is no closer to signing a new contract at AC Milan.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will be on high alert with a report claiming that Spanish attacker Suso is no closer to signing a new contract at AC Milan.

Chelsea were credited with an interest in Suso in the latter stages of last year, while Tottenham have recently been linked with the versatile attacker.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Milan and Suso are still locked in talks over a new contract, but the Italian outfit are only prepared to offer just over £3.4m a season.

The report has claimed that the 25-year-old wants £4.3m a season plus bonuses, though, which is causing a problem as the Italian giants look to secure Suso's future.

The former Liverpool attacker, who has a £32.7m release clause in his current deal, has scored six times and registered seven assists in 29 appearances for Milan during the 2018-19 campaign.
