Todd Kane joins Bristol City on loan from Chelsea

Chelsea defender Todd Kane has joined League One leaders Bristol City on loan until January 14, 2015.

The 21-year-old right-back completed his move in time to be part of the City squad for this afternoon's game at Swindon Town and takes his place on the bench at the County Ground.

Kane has had loan spells at Blackburn Rovers over the last two seasons, scoring twice in 27 Championship appearances for the Lancashire club last season.

He leaves unbeaten Chelsea to join the only other unbeaten side in the Football League, who are five points clear at League One's summit.
