Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for 17-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ismael Gharbi when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Chelsea are reportedly keeping an eye on the progress of Paris Saint-Germain youngster Ismael Gharbi.

The 17-year-old has broken into the first-team picture at the Parc des Princes this season, making his first three appearances for the senior side in cup competitions.

Gharbi's contract in the French capital expires at the end of this season, and he is now free to discuss terms with foreign clubs.

The Mirror claims that the France Under-18s international would prefer to stay at PSG if the club meet his wage demands, but he would also be willing to listen to offers from elsewhere.

European champions Chelsea are among the clubs keeping tabs on the attacking midfielder, and they could make their move when his deal runs out in the summer.

Gharbi has featured for 34 minutes during two substitute Coupe de France appearances this season, while he also made a nine-minute cameo in the Trophee des Champions.
