Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has insisted that he will welcome the responsibility of replacing Didier Drogba as the main striker at Stamford Bridge.
Drogba left Chelsea last month to join Shanghai Shenhua and despite failing to hit top form with the Champions League winners, Torres believes that he can emulate the Ivorian striker.
He told Chelsea's official website: "I like the responsibility and it is a thing I have been doing all of my life.
"Didier did everything for this club, scoring the winning goal in the Champions League final, and he was an inspiration to all of us."
Torres has yet to join his Chelsea teammates for pre-season training after representing Spain at Euro 2012.
