Oscar eager for victory over Tottenham Hotspur

Oscar reveals that he and his Chelsea teammates are determined to boost their Premier League title hopes with a win over Spurs.

Chelsea midfielder Oscar has revealed that he and his teammates are determined to strengthen their lead at the top of the table with a win over Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues, who welcome London rivals Spurs to Stamford Bridge tonight, are currently six points clear of second-placed Manchester City.

Oscar expects Tottenham to pose his side a few problems this evening, but he expects the hosts to come away with the spoils.

"We want to win the game and strengthen our position at the top of the table," the Brazilian told the club's official website. "Tottenham are an attacking side but that doesn't mean they will play that way against us because we are very strong at home. We don't know how they will set their team up but it suits us if they try to attack."

Oscar has scored four goals in 18 games for Chelsea so far this season.
