Mourinho: 'We can cope with anything'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has claimed that his side can cope with anything thrown their way this season.

The Blues were forced into an early change in their 2-0 victory over Arsenal as Thibaut Courtois sustained a head injury and was replaced by Petr Cech.

Mourinho has revealed that he was delighted with the way his team maintained their composure, and feels that the attribute separates them from their Premier League rivals.

He told reporters: "Only we can lose a keeper and not panic. We lost a keeper and the panic was just what the kid [Courtois] has [suffered].

"But as for the football panic and talk of 'oh my god what is going to happen?' — the other one [Cech] just comes and no one in the seats feels any fear because we know the big guy is there for us too.

"In this moment our team are able to adapt to everything. What the game gives us, we can cope with. We are not the kind of team that play only the same way, think the same things. We can play in a different way and adapt to different situations."

Chelsea are currently top of the Premier League with 19 points from their seven matches.
