Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists that his second spell at the club should not be viewed negatively.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that his return to the club is not a negative move.

The Portuguese coach took charge of the Blues for a second time earlier this month, having left Stamford Bridge in 2007.

Despite some reservations over whether Mourinho should have come back, he is confident that it will be a success.

"I want to think that the club knows me very well and I know the club very well," he told Chelsea's official website.

"I don't think that should work negatively, it should be a plus not a minus. It should be something that helps us do well and not the other way."

Mourinho won two Premier League titles, two League Cups and the FA Cup during his initial three-year spell at Chelsea.
