Mount 'apologises for breaking self-isolation'

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has reportedly apologised to boss Frank Lampard for failing to self-isolate.

The England international and his Chelsea teammates were last week told to stay at home after Callum Hudson-Odoi tested positive for coronavirus.

However, Mount was pictured enjoying a kickabout with West Ham United's Declan Rice and other friends in Barnet on Sunday.

According to the Daily Mail, the 21-year-old has said sorry to Lampard over the phone but still faces a fine for his actions.

Hudson-Odoi has since recovered from the respiratory disease and posted an Instagram video on Tuesday of him training on an exercise bike.

The Premier League is currently suspended until April 4 at the earliest due to the coronavirus pandemic.
