Oscar: "I can't wait to play alongside Frank Lampard"

Brazilian youngster Oscar has admitted that he "can't wait" to form a midfield partnership with Chelsea teammate Frank Lampard.

Twenty-one-year-old Oscar joined the Blues from Internacional for a fee in the region of £25m in the summer.

However, he has yet to force his way into Roberto Di Matteo's starting lineup on a regular basis.

When his chance eventually arises though, the attacker has revealed that he is excited to be playing alongside someone that he watched closely as a youngster.

"I can't wait to play alongside Frank Lampard," said Oscar. "I loved to watch him when I was growing up. I always thought he was an outstanding player."

Oscar has made two appearances for Chelsea.
