Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has admitted that the club's players want Jose Mourinho to return as manager.
Mourinho hinted that his future lies with the Blues on Tuesday evening, and the Serbian international said that particular scenario is the outcome that the players want.
"As players we don't have any confirmed information that he would return," The Mirror quotes Ivanovic as saying.
"But we would all like it to happen. With him we can be stronger as a club. He is immensely respected by everyone and he has done well at the club in the past."
Chelsea play Basel in the Europa League semi-final second leg on Thursday.
