Eden Hazard backs Chelsea for Premier League title

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard admits that he is desperate for the club to achieve success next season.

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard has admitted that he is desperate for the club to achieve success next season.

The Blues have endured a trophiless season, finishing third in the Premier League table and reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Hazard believes that his club were unlucky to miss out on silverware, but is confident that in the next campaign they can win the title

"This season was an 'almost' season - almost getting to the Champions League final, almost champions in the Premier League," The Mirror quotes him as saying. "I hope next season will be better and we can go to the next level.

"It was a good season for me but, as the boss says, we finished third and I hope next season we finish first. I always want to score more goals and improve, that is a big objective.

"My aims here are to win trophies, to play games, to score goals and to enjoy my time on the pitch. As a player I want to continue working hard and enjoy playing as I have this year."

Hazard has scored 14 league goals for Chelsea this season and was named the PFA Young Player of the Year.
