Chelsea vs. Wolves team news: Blues missing key names for Monday's Premier League fixture

Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced their starting lineups for Monday's Premier League fixture.

Blues head coach Enzo Maresca revealed in Friday's press conference that four of his key players were all injury doubts.

Just one of that quartet - Cole Palmer - has been passed fit with Levi Colwill, Romeo Lavia and Enzo Fernandez all missing out on a place in the squad.

Tosin Adarabioyo has been drafted into the middle of the backline to partner the returning Trevoh Chalobah, who makes his first start since being recalled from his loan at Crystal Palace.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been passed fit after injury to take his place alongside Moises Caicedo, whose move back into the engine room allows Reece James to make his first Premier League start in 2025.

Pedro Neto is also handed a start against his former club with Jadon Sancho dropping down to the substitutes' bench. Teenage defender Josh Acheampong also finds himself among the replacements.

Wolves make three changes

Meanwhile, Wolves have made three alterations from the team that started the 3-0 defeat at Newcastle United on Wednesday night.

Nelson Semedo returns at right-back to captain the side, with Pablo Sarabia and Matheus Cunha being included in the final third alongside Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Rodrigo Gomes, Goncalo Guedes and Hwang Hee-chan have all dropped down to the bench.
