Eden Hazard has returned to training and is in contention to face Crystal Palace on Saturday, but Antonio Conte is not yet sure whether to start the Belgian.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has said that he expects to have Eden Hazard in his squad to face Crystal Palace this weekend, but is not yet sure whether he will tweak his starting lineup.

The Belgium international missed his first Premier League game of the season on Wednesday evening, as Willian stepped in to help the Blues to a 1-0 win at Sunderland.

Conte has been reluctant to rotate his side since the start of this ongoing 10-match winning run in the top flight, going unchanged for six games before an injury picked up by Nemanja Matic forced the Italian to tweak things, and he admits that he will leave it until the last minute before deciding on his XI to face Palace on Saturday.

"We have to see if I decide to put Eden in the starting 11, but he is fit, today he trained, and then for sure not only for him but for the other players I give this night to decide because it is not easy to play three games in six days," he told reporters.

Chelsea's perfect 10-game run has taken them six points clear at the top of the Premier League, with victory at Selhurst Park enough to temporarily extend that gap even further.
