Team News: Dele Alli back against unchanged Chelsea

Alli back against unchanged Chelsea

Dele Alli has returned to the Tottenham Hotspur starting XI for the London derby at Chelsea this evening.

In all, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino makes three changes to the side that defeated West Ham United in the league last weekend, with Alli and Son Heung-min coming in for Vincent Janssen and Harry Winks, who scored on his debut against the Hammers.

Alli and Son join Christian Eriksen as part of a three-pronged support for Harry Kane up front, with Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele keeping their places just in front of the back four.

The final change comes in that defensive line, as Kevin Wimmer replaces the suspended Danny Rose alongside Jan Vertonghen, Kyle Walker and Eric Dier.

For the hosting Blues, who are chasing a seventh successive league win, Antonio Conte keeps faith with the side that delivered a narrow win at Middlesbrough last time out.

That means that Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Pedro continue as a three-man frontline, with Victor Moses, N'Golo Kante, Nemanja Matic and Marcos Alonso making up the midfield.

Conte sticks with three at the back, with Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill deployed ahead of Thibaut Courtois between the sticks.

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Pedro, Costa, Hazard Subs: Begovic, Ivanovic, Chalobah, Oscar, Fabregas, Willian, Batshuayi

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Wimmer; Wanyama, Dembele; Eriksen, Alli, Son; Kane Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Carter-Vickers, Winks, Onomah, Nkoudou, Janssen
