Cesc Fabregas thanks Jose Mourinho

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has passed on his thanks to departing manager Jose Mourinho.

The Blues announced earlier today that they had parted company with the Portuguese boss following a run of results that has seen them slip to 16th in the Premier League, just one point off the relegation zone.

There had been suggestions that the relationship between Mourinho and the majority of his players had become strained, but Spaniard Fabregas has still taken the opportunity to pass on his gratitude and best wishes.

Thank you for all you have done for me. I owe you a lot and we will all miss you. Good luck in the future and i know you will be back soon.

Fabregas joined Mourinho's Chelsea from Barcelona in 2014 and helped the club to win the Premier League and League Cup last season.
