New Chelsea boss Rafael Benitez has set his sights on trying to win five trophies with the club this season.

The Blues, who have already been knocked out of the European Super Cup, remain in with a chance of winning the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup in the current campaign.

The latter will provide Benitez's first chance to win silverware with his new club, and he is hopeful that it will begin a trophy-laden season for the Blues.

"My priority was to work in the Premier League, I'm really happy to be here with a top side," said Benitez.

"Winning games is a guarantee for everything. We are in five competitions and have five big opportunities to win trophies. We will see what happens in the Champions League, all we can do is try to win our game.

"The Premier League would be a massive trophy to win, as I know how difficult it is to win. I would be delighted if we won the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan."

Benitez's first match in charge of Chelsea will come against league leaders Manchester City this weekend.
