Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has said that his side have a strong enough squad to cope without banned midfielder Nemanja Matic in next week's League Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur.
Matic was shown a straight red card against Burnley on Saturday for shoving Clarets striker Ashley Barnes to the ground, but Courtois insists that they will still field a strong team at Wembley.
He told Chelsea TV: "We have a difficult game next week and Matic has been very good for us this season. It's a pity he can't play in the final, but of course we have other players who also need to do their job.
"We will still have a strong side, so I don't think it will be a huge problem, although of course Nemanja will be missed."
Matic has become a key player since he rejoined the West London club last year.
