Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech insists that he is happy that his side are through to the Capital One Cup quarter-finals.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has admitted that he would love to play a part in the Capital One Cup final in February.

The Czech Republic stopper played in Chelsea's 5-4 victory over Manchester United on Wednesday night and although several clubs have used the competition to play their fringe players, Cech has insisted that he strives to play at Wembley as many times as he can.

Cech told the club's official website: "I am glad that we have progressed because a lot of good teams have gone out already.

"It would be great to see us in the final in February. It's played at Wembley and games there are always worth being involved in."

Chelsea last won the League Cup in 2007, when they beat Arsenal 2-1.
