Gary Cahill has said that playing in the Capital One Cup final is a "massive occasion" for Chelsea ahead of this afternoon's trip to Wembley.
Jose Mourinho's side will be hoping to beat London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to lift the trophy for the first time in eight years.
The England defender, who has not won this competition during his career, told the club's website: "When I first came to Chelsea I realised there was an expectation to win trophies.
"I've never won this one so it means a lot. I've won two European trophies and the FA Cup but not this. I'd love to, it's a massive occasion and whatever final you're in you want to win.
"A couple of boys have won it a couple of times and they'll be just as hungry. You don't need any added incentive, you're prepared and you know it's a big game."
Chelsea have previously won the League Cup four times.
