How Chelsea could line up against Leeds United

How Chelsea could line up against Leeds United

Chelsea will be bidding to make it three Premier League victories in a row when they continue their campaign away to Leeds United on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues, who are currently fourth in the table, will again be without the services of Tammy Abraham due to a troublesome ankle problem.

Head coach Thomas Tuchel has also revealed that experienced defender Thiago Silva, who made the bench against Everton on Monday night after recovering from a thigh problem, has suffered a setback and will not be available here.

Andreas Christensen has been in excellent form at the heart of the defence, though, and might have kept his spot even if the Brazilian had been available.

There are expected to be changes from the side that started the 2-0 win over Everton, with Mason Mount, N'Golo Kante, Ben Chilwell and Antonio Rudiger all in line to feature.

Kai Havertz impressed at the tip of the attack against the Toffees, and the Germany international could now be handed another starting role at Elland Road.

Timo Werner and Mason Mount are likely to be the supporting act in the final third, with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mateo Kovacic potentially both dropping to the bench.

Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Olivier Giroud are also options for change, but the trio are again expected to be among the substitutes for the clash with Marcelo Bielsa's side.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kante, Chilwell; Werner, Havertz, Mount
