Chelsea's Kurt Zouma pulls out of France Under-21 squad

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has withdrawn from the France Under-21s squad with an injury.

The 21-year-old suffered a knock during the Blues' 1-0 defeat to Stoke City at the weekend.

It appears as though the injury is bad enough for Zouma to withdraw from Euro 2017 qualifiers against Northern Ireland and Macedonia.

Chelsea are currently 16th in the Premier League table, just three points above the relegation zone.
