Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says that defender David Luiz will miss another three weeks of action due to a knee injury.

Chelsea defender David Luiz has been ruled out for another three weeks due to a knee injury.

Luiz has endured a stop-start season due to ongoing problems with his knee, with just four appearances being made since November 22.

At his pre-match press conference ahead of the fixture with Tottenham Hotspur, boss Antonio Conte was quizzed on whether the Brazilian would be available to replace Andreas Christensen, who has recently struggled with fatigue.

However, Conte revealed that the 30-year-old is unlikely to make another outing for the Blues until towards the end of the month.

Chelsea face games with Spurs, West Ham United, Southampton and Burnley before they play their FA Cup semi-final with Southampton on April 22.
