How Liverpool could line up against Chelsea

Ahead of Sunday's Premier League game between Chelsea and Liverpool, Sports Mole looks at how the visitors could line up at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool make the trip to West London to face Chelsea having won each of their opening five matches in the Premier League.

That run of form has earned the Merseyside giants a five-point advantage over Manchester City at the top of the standings.

However, Jurgen Klopp's side will head into the fixture at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon on the back of suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Napoli in the Champions League earlier this week.

Here, Sports Mole predicts whether Klopp will opt to make any alterations to his team for a game against opponents whom they edged out on penalties in last month's UEFA Super Cup final.

Out: Alisson (calf), Nathaniel Clyne (knee)
Doubtful: Naby Keita (groin), Divock Origi (ankle)

Klopp suggested in his press conference that Divock Origi had made good progress from an ankle injury sustained against Newcastle United last weekend, although the German did not indicate whether the forward would earn a place in the squad.

Naby Keita may make the substitutes' bench after returning to training after a groin problem, but Alisson remains sidelined with a calf injury.

With next week's EFL Cup tie with MK Dons representing an opportunity to rest his star men, Klopp is expected to name his strongest outfield on Sunday.

Joel Matip should keep his place ahead of Joe Gomez, with the Englishman a potential option at right-back if Klopp opts to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Georginio Wijnaldum is likely to be handed a recall in place of James Milner.
