David Luiz wants Chelsea to beat his old side Benfica in the Europa League final on May 15.

Chelsea centre-back David Luiz has targeted a win in the Europa League final to bring some success to the London side's season.

Luiz scored for Chelsea in their 3-1 win over Basel in Thursday night's semi-final second leg to set up a date with his old side Benfica on May 15.

However, Luiz said that he will forget any affection he has for the Portuguese side when the clubs meet in Amsterdam in under two weeks' time.

"I want one more title, not just [to reach] the final," Luiz told the club's website. "It will be a difficult game against a big club; a great team. We need to win.

"[Benfica are] a team everyone knows. I have Benfica in my heart because it gave me the opportunity to come to Europe.

"However, when the game starts I'll forget everything and I want to win."

Luiz was selected in midfield for the second leg in London.
