The January transfer window is now open, with Chelsea continuing to be linked with a host of big names.
The Blues were the biggest spenders in the summer, splashing more than £200m, but they have been tipped to do yet more business in January as they look to bridge the gap to the leading pack in the Premier League.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Stamford Bridge.
Sunday morning's Chelsea transfer talk news roundup:
Jorginho agent opens door to Chelsea exit
The agent of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has opened the door to a potential exit from Stamford Bridge for his client.
Jorginho has struggled to nail down a regular spot in Frank Lampard's starting lineup this term and was criticised after missing his third penalty of the season in the Blues' 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Boxing Day.
Despite finding himself in and out of the team, Jorginho's agent Joao Santos has affirmed that the midfielder is happy in the English capital, but a return to Italy in the future cannot be ruled out.
In quotes attributed to The Mirror, Santos said: "It was a great year for Jorge, he did very well in the national team as well. Next year there will be the European Championship, where he hopes to do very well with Italy.
"As for Chelsea, they are not very well-placed in the table now, but being a young team, it takes time. Jorge is a Chelsea player and he is very happy there, but I wouldn't rule out a return to Italy in future."
The former Napoli man has already found the back of the net four times in all competitions this term, but he has started just seven Premier League games for the Blues in the 2020-21 campaign.
Atletico Madrid eye Chelsea's Olivier Giroud as Diego Costa replacement?
Atletico Madrid have reportedly identified Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud as an ideal replacement for Diego Costa.
Costa recently had his contract at the Wanda Metropolitano terminated and has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers after becoming a free agent.
Meanwhile, Giroud has rediscovered his goalscoring touch in recent weeks, but the 34-year-old can now begin talks with other clubs after entering the final six months of his Chelsea deal.
According to Italian outlet Rai Sport, Atletico manager Diego Simeone has personally earmarked the Blues man as an ideal signing following the departure of former Chelsea striker Costa.
Giroud - who was heavily linked with a move to Serie A in the summer - has previously affirmed that he would like to stay at Stamford Bridge despite finding himself in and out of Frank Lampard's team this term.
The France international has struck nine times in all competitions this term and opened the scoring in the Blues' 1-1 draw with Aston Villa in midweek.
