Chelsea have reportedly upped their interest in AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
In a bid to resolve their issues between the sticks, Chelsea signed Rennes stopper Edouard Mendy during the summer transfer window.
However, with the Blues keen to eventually part ways with Kepa Arrizabalaga, it leaves the Premier League outfit to consider potential alternatives.
According to TalkChelsea, club officials have instigated discussions with Donnarumma's agent Mino Raiola ahead of a potential bid for the 21-year-old.
Despite being the long-standing number one at San Siro, Donnarumma has just six months remaining on his contract with the Serie A leaders.
Milan are currently attempting to convince the player to pen fresh terms in a bid to prevent further discussions with other clubs.
