England manager Roy Hodgson has claimed that Chelsea are not the underdogs in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich this evening.
The Blues have been given a slim chance of winning the match at the Allianz Arena due to the suspension of key players for the game.
However, Hodgson, who will be in the stands in Germany, insists that it will be a far tighter affair than many are anticipating.
"I think it will be a lot closer, as far as Chelsea are concerned, than many pundits are predicting," he told the Football Association's official website.
"People seem to be writing them off as the underdog for this one, but to be frank, I don't see them as the underdog at all."
Chelsea will be looking to lift the Champions League trophy for the first time in their history this weekend.
