Petr Cech excited by Galatasaray challenge

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has admitted that he is excited by his side's last-16 encounter with Galatasaray in the Champions League.

The Blues travel to the Turk Telekom Arena tonight for the first leg of their knockout clash.

"I'm excited because it's a knockout game in the Champions League," Cech told the club's official website. "It's always a big challenge for every player. Everybody knows what the atmosphere is like here, I've never played here before so I'm looking forward to it."

Chelsea welcome Gala to Stamford Bridge for the return leg on March 18.
