Charlton Athletic have reportedly agreed to sign Chris Eagles on loan for the rest of the season from Bolton Wanderers.
The 28-year-old has struggled to replicate last season's form for the Trotters and Dougie Freedman is said to be willing to let him leave for the remainder of the campaign.
After starting 40 of Bolton's 46 league games last term and scoring 12 goals, the former Manchester United man has found the net just once in 13 league starts so far this season.
According to the South London Press, an agreement between the two Championship clubs has been reached and it is now up to Eagles to decide whether he wants to move South for the last month of the season.
