San Siro to host Champions League final

UEFA has confirmed that the final of the 2016 Champions League will be held at the San Siro in Milan.

The stadium previously hosted the final of the tournament in 2001, when Bayern Munich lifted the trophy following a penalty shootout win over Valencia.

It has also been announced that St Jakob-Park in Basel will host the Europa League final that same season.

The final of this season's tournament will take place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
