UEFA has announced that goal-line technology will be used during the finals of the Champions League and Europa League this season.
The decision was made by the European governing body's executive committee after they met on Friday in Nyon, Switzerland.
The Champions League final will take place in Milan on May 28 and the Europa League showpiece will be staged in Basel on May 18.
In January, it was announced that next season's Champions League competition will have the use of goal-line technology from the playoff rounds.
The new system was introduced in the Premier League for the 2013-14 season and will be in place for this summer's European Championships in France.
