Transfer Roundup: Jamie Vardy to Celtic, Noah Okafor to Leeds United

Jamie Vardy has reportedly decided that he wants a move to Celtic this summer.

The 38-year-old is a free agent for the first time in over a decade after ending his 13-year association with Leicester City in May.

Vardy is undoubtedly a legend at the King Power Stadium, scoring 200 goals across 500 appearances for the East Midlands outfit.

Without a doubt the biggest moment of his career, the energetic striker lifted the Premier League title with the Foxes at the end of 2015-16.

According the The Sun, Vardy is targeting more silverware before the conclusion of his rags-to-riches storyline in professional football.

The report claims that the forward is hoping for a move to Celtic this summer, with former boss Brendan Rodgers in charge of the Glasgow-based club.

It is understood that Vardy is planning to remain at the top level of football until the age of 40, with the belief that he could make a major impact at Celtic Park.

Leeds closing in on Serie A attacker?

Looking to avoid an immediate relegation to the Championship, Leeds United are making waves during this summer's trading point.

The Yorkshire Whites picked up an opening-night victory earlier this week in the Premier League, beating Everton 1-0 at Elland Road.

As per transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Daniel Farke's troops are close to bringing another attacker to the club before the end of the window.

He made 15 appearances in Serie A for the Rossoneri last season, scoring once and failing to provide any assists.

The attacker made a name for himself at RB Salzburg, for whom he bagged 34 goals across three seasons before moving to Italy.

Juve reject Saudi approach for midfielder?

Finally, Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Juventus have rejected another approach from the Middle East for Manuel Locatelli.

The 27-year-old is said to have caught the interest of Al Ahli, who are targeting a push for the Saudi Pro League crown this season.

It is understood that the Old Lady have snubbed a bid of £21.6m for the Italian, who has represented his country on 30 occasions.,

Locatelli is supposedly a big part of the plans in Turin this season, meaning that a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia is not on the cards.
