Report: Celtic close to signing Ryan Christie, Jozo Simunovic

Celtic are reportedly close to completing deals for Ryan Christie and Jozo Simunovic.

According to the Daily Record, Celtic have agreed a £4m deal with Dinamo Zagreb for goalkeeper Simunovic, but his transfer will have to be put towards a panel as the 21-year-old does not meet the automatic criteria for a UK work visa.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Christie, 20, is also close to completing personal terms with Ronny Delia's side.

The deal is thought to be worth £500,000 and it will see the youngster loaned back to the Highlanders for the remainder of the season.

Hoops striker Stefan Scepovic joined Getafe on a season-long loan last night, while Virgil van Dijk is expected to join Southampton before the window closes.
