Mikael Lustig has said that he is looking forward to a fortnight off.
The Celtic defender estimates that he has had little over six weeks' rest in the last two years.
The Sweden international told Sky Sports News: "The last year I struggled a bit with my body, and it is probably down to that.
"I don't think the human body is supposed to play as many games. Now the break is going to be really nice.
"I think the two-week break can make a big difference, especially mentally. I can go home and not focus on football."
The Scottish Premier League takes a break in January, resuming in two weeks' time.
