Neil Lennon reveals Efe Ambrose punishment

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has confirmed that Efe Ambrose was disciplined before Wednesday's Champions League defeat to Juventus in Italy.

The defender, who started the 2-0 loss on the bench, missed the team bus from the hotel in the hours leading up to the match.

"There was disciplinary action taken against him but it wouldn't have affected the team selection tonight," Lennon told Sky Sports News.

Celtic travel to Ross County in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.
