Celtic manager Ronny Deila is pleased with the manner of his side's 6-1 win over Dundee United.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has praised the Scottish champions as they hammered Dundee United 6-1 in his first home game in charge.

Goals from Kris Commons, Stefan Johansen, Antony Stokes, Jon Rankin and two from Jo Inge Berget gave Celtic the victory which leaves them top of the league.

Deila told reporters after the game: "I'm into performances and today was a very good performance from the players.

"The pressing, transition and passing was much better and quicker so I am happy and proud today."

Celtic next face Slovenian outfit NK Maribor in the first leg of the Champions League qualifier on Wednesday.
