Celtic pair Scott Brown and James Forrest have both been selected on a four-man shortlist for the PFA Scotland Player of the Year award.

The Glasgow giants are closing in on another Scottish Premiership title, and two of the key members of Brendan Rodgers's squad have been recognised for their performances.

Brown - in his 11th campaign with Celtic - has made a total of 44 appearances in all competitions this season, while winger Forrest has contributed 14 goals in domestic fixtures.

Kilmarnock forward Kris Boyd also features among the nominees, with the former Scotland international sitting at the top of the top-flight goalscoring charts with 16 strikes.

Hibernian midfielder John McGinn completes the list having netted five times in 31 outings for the Edinburgh-based side.

Celtic's Kieran Tierney, Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos, Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna and St Mirren winger Lewis Morgan - on loan from Celtic - are in contention for the Young Player of the Year accolade.
