Nigerian international Efe Ambrose says that his first week at Celtic has been an "amazing" experience.

Efe Ambrose has declared that he feels settled at new club Celtic after making his first start on Tuesday night.

The Nigerian international was played in the Hoops' 4-1 win over Raith Rovers in the League Cup, and is happy with his new surroundings after just a week.

Ambrose said: "It has not been easy because I had a short time to adapt to being in the team. There has been no time to train with the team properly.

"But the feeling I have with them is amazing because they helped me to settle down very fast and so there was no problem.

"It is like a home for me. We are like family here. It is a good place to play football and make myself a better player."

The 23-year-old joined the Scottish champions on a three-year deal from Israeli team FC Ashdod during the summer.
