Celta Vigo's Fabian Orellana sent off for throwing grass at Sergio Busquets

Celta Vigo defender Fabian Orellana was sent off in his side's 1-0 defeat against Barcelona on Sunday for throwing a lump of turf at Sergio Busquets.

The Blaugrana opened the scoring in the 73rd minute at the Balaidos, courtesy of Jeremy Mathieu's header from Xavi's free kick.

With time running out in the match, Orellana appeared to be frustrated at what he perceived to be time-wasting tactics from the Catalans.

In response, he ripped a chunk of turf from the pitch and threw it at Busquets, catching him on the back of his neck, and it led to the Celta man being sent off.

The result sees Barcelona maintain their four-point lead over Real Madrid at the top of La Liga, while Celta sit 11th.
