Cardiff City defender Adedeji Oshilaja pens Gillingham loan deal

Cardiff City defender Adedeji Oshilaja has joined Gillingham on a short-term loan deal.

The 22-year-old, who has previously played under Gills boss Justin Edinburgh at Newport County, will remain with the League One club until January 3.

"Having worked with Adedeji at Newport County I know what he is capable of and was keen to get him on board here at Gillingham if it were possible," Edinburgh told Gillingham's official website.

"We thank Cardiff for allowing him to join us and we look forward to working with him."

Oshilaja made his professional debut for Cardiff in 2012 after coming through the club's youth system.
