Team News: Bruno Ecuele Manga makes Cardiff City debut

Cardiff City give a debut to new signing Bruno Ecuele Manga for their clash with Middlesbrough.

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given a debut to new signing Bruno Ecuele Manga as they take on fellow Championship promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough.

Manga replaces Sean Morrison in the Bluebirds' back line, with Matt Connolly retaining his place after the 4-2 home defeat against Norwich City on Saturday.

However, there is no place in the matchday squad for Craig Noone despite his recovery from injury.

Dimi Konstantopoulos continues in goal for Boro, having replaced Tomas Meijas in the starting lineup for the 2-1 victory at Huddersfield at the weekend.

Aitor Karanka's side, who go into the game in South Wales just a point in front of their opponents, can also call on two-goal hero Grant Leadbitter after he shook off a heavy knock picked up at Huddersfield.

Cardiff City: Marshall, Brayford, Manga, Connolly, Cala, Whittingham, Daehli, Adeyemi, Pilkington, Jones, Macheda

Middlesbrough: Konstantopoulos, Damia, Ayala, Omeruo, Friend, Adomah, Leadbitter, Clayton, Reach, Kike, Vossen
